The Portable Kitchen

Portable Kitchen Picture1_WebWe have put together an inventory of supplies for a portable kitchen, available for community use.  The goal of the program is to enable educators to provide food demonstrations in local food pantries, neighborhood community centers and schools.  Education provided on topics such as simple food preparation methods, encouragement of healthier selections and reduction of food waste.  The Portable Kitchen will support educators from MU Extension, CoxHealth, MSU Dietetics and HyVee.
